Vehicle Wraps: What You Need to Know

Some questions you may have before getting your vehicle wrapped

Turf Box Truck WrapWhen deciding how to get the biggest bang for your buck in terms of advertising, the best answer is to invest in vehicle wraps! Vehicle Wraps are an easy way to get your business and your name out there and get your sales pushed into high gear. Being in the vehicle wrap business for more than 18years, we have some information that we think would be useful to you before choosing to invest for vehicle wraps for your company.

First off, what are vehicle wraps?

Vehicle wraps are large, digitally printed vinyl stickers that able to be put on the entire or partial exterior of your vehicle.

Will the vehicle wrap damage the original paint on my vehicle?

Not at all! In fact, the vehicle wrap will help to protect the paint job underneath it from weathering and from all those pesky rocks that fly at you on the freeway. Of course, you have to make sure that you get the wrap installed (and removed, if necessary) from a qualified, experienced installer, to leave the paint job in the previous condition it was in before the vehicle was wrapped.

How can the windows be wrapped, but I can still see out of them?

We wrap windows with a perforated window film. There are holes in the film that allow you to see out, while people look at what your vehicle wrap has to offer on the outside.

Does a vehicle wrap require any type of special maintenance?

The answer is no, besides keeping it looking nice and clean. For washing, we recommend good ol’ water and soap, that seems to always do the trick. As far as car washes are concerned, if you had your vehicle wrapped by a professional installer, they should not be an issue. You are also able to have the wrap waxed and polished as you would do to a normal paint job.

If I was in an accident, can the damaged vinyl be repaired?

Yes, damaged sections of the vehicle wrap can definitely be replaced. Typically, it is fairly inexpensive (depending on the amount of damage), and the insurance may cover the cost of the wrap replacement as well.

What is the warranty on a vehicle wrap?

The warranty depends on the company you choose to install the wrap, but we offer a lifetime warranty! We stand by the work that we do and will continue to stand by it as long as you own the vehicle. It doesn’t get much better than that!
